Protester Salah Noureddine urges civil society activists to unite

Salah Noureddine, a protester against whom House Speaker Nabih Berri filed a lawsuit, called Wednesday upon civil society activists to unite for political, social and living demands.

In a press conference held in Riad al-Soleh square, activist Noureddine explained the reasons behind the banner he hoisted, which led to the complaint filed by Speaker Berri.

Speaker Berri filed a slander lawsuit against the protester after he raised a banner during a demonstration that took place in Martyrs’ Square on September 21, accusing the official along with MP Walid Jumblatt and former Premier Saad Hariri of corruption.
