A number of volunteers dived on Sunday in Ain el-Mreisseh in a bid to pick up the tons of trash piled up underwater, increasing awareness of the dangers of throwing garbage in the sea.
This activity, which has been organized for ten consecutive years, acquired this year a special importance particularly that this quantity might double once the rainfall carries out the waste accumulated on road-sides to the sea.
