PM Salam meets with Saudi Ambassador to Lebanon Asiri

Saudi Ambassador to Lebanon Ali Awad Asiri urged on Thursday the Lebanese leaders in Lebanon to find a solution for the country’s crises, mainly the election of a new president.

“I urge the political leaders to work on opening a new page to put aside the controversial issues,” said Asiri after holding talks with Prime Minister Tammam Salam at the Grand Serail.

“I urge them to set a road map and take national decisions in order to safeguard the state and its institutions,” he added.

On another note, PM Salam also held talks with Minister of Social Affairs Rachid Derbass, Sports and Youth Minister Abdel Motaleb al-Hennawi, and Minister of Telecommunication Boutors Harb.
