Israel renews its evacuation warning for residents south of Zahrani River

The Israeli army has renewed its warning to residents in South Lebanon, located south of the Zahrani River, calling on them to evacuate their homes and move north of the river immediately.

In a statement, Israeli army spokesperson Avichay Adraee claimed that Hezbollah's activities in the area are forcing the Israeli army to carry out intensified military operations, stressing that civilians are not the intended target.

He warned that airstrikes are ongoing and that the army is operating with significant force in the area, urging residents to leave immediately for their own safety.

The statement added that anyone present near Hezbollah members, their facilities, or military assets is putting their life at risk.

Residents were again urged to relocate north of the Zahrani River, with the warning that remaining in areas south of it could endanger their lives and those of their families. The statement also cautioned against any movement southward, saying it could expose individuals to danger.
