He also called for a massive rally to be held on Tuesday at 10 am before the Military Court.
Following the protest, the activists headed towards the Military Court where they blocked the road in both directions for some time.
Military Investigative Judge Riad Abou Ghida issued on Friday (October 16) a decision ordering the release of three civil society activists who were detained during an anti-government demonstration that took place last week in central Beirut.
However, two other activists, Waref Sleiman and Pierre Hachach, remained under police custody.
