Families of abducted soldiers meet Qatari ambassador

Families of kidnapped Lebanese troops met on Friday with the Qatari ambassador to Lebanon Ali Bin Hamad Al-Marri to press the case of their loved ones.

"The purpose of the meeting was to convey a humanitarian message to the Emir of Qatar about our suffering," the families said.

On Tuesday, the families pleaded for Qatar, Turkey and former Prime Minister Saad Hariri's help to put an end to their case.

ISIS and the Nusra Front have been holding 25 Lebanese troops as hostage since August 2014, when the militants briefly overran the border town of Arsal.
