Information Minister Ramzy Jreij stressed Wednesday that “among the features of the new media is its ability to reach the recipient by leaps and bounds, while crossing geographic boundaries with the help of the internet.”
In a speech he delivered during the second media conference titled “The New Media,” the minister noted that “this media has become more dominant and widespread to the extent that all media outlets and political parties rely on its new means to communicate with their audience.”
“The new media granted the people the possibility to express and spread their various points of view, and contributed to building new social relations,” he stated.
