Warda dies after a life full of love, pain and passion
The Algerian singer Warda will be buried on Saturday after a heart attack ended her life late on Thursday in Cairo.

Warda was French by birth, Egyptian by marriage and most of her life, but Algerian by love and Lebanese by heart.

As her last concert in Lebanon took place at the heart of Beirut, she appeared through LBCI’s camera with the colleague Tony Kahwaji.

During that concert, she didn’t sing the songs, yet she lived them. Interacting with the audience who turned into her orchestra, she said: “you aged, not me”.

Before the heart of Lebanon, Warda sang for the history and culture of Lebanon in Baalbeck. Despite her illness, she knew how to deal with the death of her second husband and the love of her life Baligh Hamdi.
