Wahhab to LBC: Aoun is the biggest winner

Arab Tawhid leader Wiam Wahhab said Thursday that, should the electricity plan be implemented, Lebanon would benefit from electricity in four years.

Wahhab told Nharkom Said TV show that “Aoun is the biggest winner and he has proven that he is a man of his word”, adding that Aoun was extremely disappointed by those attempting to foil the electricity plan.

Wahhab also praised PM Najib Mikati for he has secured funding for the plan, preventing it from remaining simply ink on paper. Asked about the Special Tribunal for Lebanon, Wahhab said that this issue should be voted on in cabinet; If it is passed, “let Hariri and co. enjoy it”.

Wahhab said that Hezbollah has been the most harshly criticized party in Lebanon for the past 10 years. He added that General Secretary Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah managed to use his wisdom during this period to prevent any serious escalations in violence.
