Ministry of Interior: Independent Judiciary Commission to hand over communications data

The Ministry of Interior announced on Friday the outcome of the recent meeting between the Ministers of Interior, Justice, and the independent judiciary, pertaining to the data communications issue.

After the approval of Independent Judicial Commission, entrusted with the consideration of the legality of the objection of telephone calls, communications data will be delivered to the security apparatus.

In a following statement, it was announced that the Ministry of Communications plays a secondary role in this issue, citing the independent judiciary as the first incumbent.
