Daher calls to refer the case of Abdul Wahid and Merheb to Military Council

Sunday marked the 40th day memorial of the death of Sheikh Ahmad Abdel Wahed and Mohammad Hussein who were killed at an LAF checkpoint on the 21st of May 2012.

On the occasion, MP Khaled Daher called for the case to be referred to the Judicial Council “because it is a national issue, not a sectarian one”, demanding the president and the government alongside security institutions to adhere to the protection of Lebanon.

For his part, March 14 General Secretariat Fares Saeed called on the army command, the state and military courts to assume their responsibility in this matter.
