Saudi Arabia warns its citizens against visiting Lebanon
In a statement published by the Saudi state news agency on Monday, the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs warned its citizens against traveling to Lebanon due to “security instability”.

A high-level source said that "given the unstable situation in Lebanon, the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs warned Saudi nationals against traveling to Lebanon during this period for their own safety and the safety of their families - until further notice”.

In this context, Saudi Ambassador to Lebanon Ali Awad Asiri confirmed that the Saudi foreign ministry issued the warning after recent security incidents shook Lebanon.

Asiri added that Saudi Arabia’s precautionary measures stem from its keenness on the safety of its citizens.
