Doubts cast over participation of Aoun’s ministers in Monday cabinet session

Different interpretations emerged in the wake of last week’s events at the parliament that were marked by the withdrawal of the Change and Reform bloc, Kataeb and LF MPs from the session.

In this context, sources revealed to LBCI that the Change and Reform bloc ministers will hold discussions with General Michel Aoun on Monday in order to decide on their attendance.

Meanwhile, Energy Minister Gebran Bassil outright denied via LBCI that Aoun’s ministers will boycott the session but did not deny contacts with Hezbollah in this regard.
