Berri: Syria shall overcome

Speaker Nabih Berri condemned on Thursday the “terrorist attack” which claimed the lives of top military and intelligence commands in Syria a day earlier.
“The attack aims at dissipating the Syrian army along with the country’s unity and stability, paving the way for a divided Syria,” Berri added.

“The attack is directed at marginalizing Damascus from its role as the supporter of resistance movements,” Berri said.

“Syria shall overcome this tragedy and will be able to reestablish civil peace through dialogue” he concluded.
