MP Jamil al-Sayyed addressed the cabinet with a question on the backdrop of the behavior of Information Minister Jamal al-Jarrah during the session held to discuss the policy statement, stating that “al-Jarrah allowed himself to act physically as if he were a bodyguard for the prime minister.”
Al-Sayyed also presented an urgent draft law pertaining to lifting bank secrecy off those who have responsibilities in the state, explaining that “all those who are in charge of institutions funded, partly or fully, by the state, should not have bank secrecy.”
