Fatfat calls on government stance regarding handover of 14 Syrian nationals

Member of “Lebanon First” Bloc MP Ahmad Fatfat said on Thursday that the country’s security apparatus handed over 14 Syrian nationals, some of which include opposition activists’, to Syrian authorities under allegations of several legal claims,.

Fatfat said that the handover poses a threat to the lives of those nationals, under the current circumstances prevalent in Syria. “Was this hand over done with the PM’s, Presidents and Minister of Interior’s knowledge? Or has the security apparatus in this country come under the command of the Syrians?” he asked.

In his concluding remarks, he called on the Lebanese government to convene in order to determine its position from “this heinous crime” and to hold those responsible accountable.
