How do the Syrian refugees live in Lebanon after deporting a number of them?
The issue of deporting a number of refugees and activists from Lebanon to Syria will not pass unnoticed through Lebanon’s General Security.

The head of the National Struggle Front Walid Jumblatt told the competent authorities, President Michel Sleiman, PM Najib Mikati and the Ministerial blocs, that if this “mistake” is repeated, he will take a position on the persistence of the cabinet, sources close to Jumblatt reported.

According to the sources, Jumblatt called his former allies in March 14 asking them to react, as the situation of the refugees is very bad.

The truth is that the accusations vary from “brother of a martyr, son of an activist or an honest opponent”. This was the case of the Syrians deported during the last months, and the last ones were the group of 14.

In this context, a Syrian activist told LBCI that “whoever enters Syria and is wanted by the Syrian intelligence, no one will ever know to which prison he will be taken”, noting that they are usually accused of not holding any identification papers and illegally entering the Lebanese territory.
