What if the new electoral law had been applied in 2009?
The new electoral law approved by the cabinet on Tuesday reduced the number of electoral districts of the 2009 law to 13 and adopted proportional representation. Had the newly adopted draft law been applied in 2009, the results would have surely changed.

The real results of 2009 elections were: 68 deputies for 14 March versus 57 for 8 March and 3 centrists. But if the suggested new electoral law had been applied, the results would have been: 63 deputies for 8 March, 56 for 14 March while the 9 other deputies remain unidentified.
