Abu Ibrahim to LBCI: Lebanese politicians are similar to the Syrian regime

“Abu Ibrahim” confirmed on Thursday that the 11 pilgrims are the “guests” of the Syrian people, adding that they are being “hosted” in order to relay a message from the Syrians to the Lebanese people.

In a statement to LBCI, Abu Ibrahim voiced hope that the 11 men will soon be released.

He said, from Aleppo’s Aazaz, that the Syrian regime has oppressed the Lebanese people just as it has done to the Syrians themselves.

While he likened the Lebanese politicians to the Syrian regime, Abu Ibrahim called on political figures to balance their stance on the Syrian regime, urging the Lebanese state to acknowledge the Syrian revolution.

In his concluding remarks, Abu Ibrahim criticized the Lebanese authorities’ handover of Syrian refugees to the Syrian state.
