Member of the Development and Liberation bloc MP Yassin Jaber tackled Sunday the amnesty law, stressing that he is not holding on to the draft law.
He pointed out that the draft law was drafted by a ministerial committee that included the Free Patriotic Movement ministers, raising surprise over their approval.
He also explained that the Parliament general assembly will make the decision regarding this law.
Regarding the popular movement, MP Jaber told LBCI that he hopes many goals will be realized, adding that these demonstrations witnessed by Lebanon will push for change and reform.
On the governmental issue, he called for the formation of a cabinet capable of working, “because obstruction will lead to a disaster.”
