The terrible play the cabinet performed on Wednesday and Thursday is not over yet. As if months of stalling are not enough.

The cabinet keeps stealing time to fabricate new ways to fund the ranks and salaries scale for the public school teachers and the public sector employees, who will have to get paid over 4 years since the government can’t afford paying the whole sum.

Ironically, this cabinet is capable of endorsing 575 billion LBP for “electoral asphalt”.

This same cabinet accomplice to assure its monopolizing that deprives the employees and the teachers from several incomes. The Sukleen and the Duty Free in Beirut Airport scandals are enough to prove the Lebanese government guilty.

For its part, the Trade Union coordinating body applauded the ranks and salaries scale endorsement even if the result is not sufficient. The body also announced an expanded Trade Union conference that will be held on September 20th to escalate the pressure.
