Attack on the Church of the Holy Cross in Zalka

The Catholic Information Center announced that Thursday morning Father Narik Lousian in charge of the Holy Cross Armenian Catholic Church in Zalka reported an attack on church Wednesday night.

In a statement issued by the center, witnesses reportedly said that images of saints and icons were torn and distorted as the statue of Saint Rita lay shattered on the floor.

The father contacted the authorities and asked them to investigate and reveal perpetrators of this crime.

In this context, primary investigations revealed that the attackers did not leave finger prints.
