Diab meets French Embassy delegation
Prime Minister Hassan Diab received on Thursday a delegation from the French Embassy in Beirut at the Grand Serail.

The delegation included the Chargé D'Affaires Salina Grenet-Catalano, Advisor Ines Ben Karim, and Head of Economic Affairs department, François De Ricolfis, in the presence of PM Advisors, Khodor Taleb and Ambassador Gebran Soufane.

The meeting focused on the follow-up of the talks held by French Foreign Minister Jean-Yves Le Drian in Beirut.

The French Embassy's Chargé D'Affaires reiterated her country's interest in assisting and supporting Lebanon.

For his part, Prime Minister Diab indicated that France's offer to provide technical assistance at the financial level is being examined.

PM Diab praised the deep Lebanese and French relations rooted in history and shared values, expressing Lebanon's hope to strengthen cooperation relations between the two countries on the bilateral and international levels, especially in the framework of international organizations; he also affirmed that Minister Le Drian's visit falls within the scope of that historical relationship between both countries.
