Katicha: Aoun surrendered the eastern region to Syria

LF adviser retired General Wehbe Katicha held a press conference on Tuesday in which he denied FMP leader Michel Aoun's claims on October 13th 1990 incidents.

The former general stressed that "Aoun tried to forge a historical era all the while insulting Lebanese heroes who died for the sake of their country."

Katicha added that "when Aoun was in charge in the 1990's, he surrendered the eastern region to Syria".

Katicha also accused Aoun of "forging an agreement with the Syrians before prior to his return from France in 2005 to morally destroy the March 14 bloc."

Aoun had earlier made statements on the commemoration of October 13th whereby he accused the Lebanese Forces of conspiring with Syrian Forces in their fight against the Lebanese Armed Forces.
