Karami on Assad: The crisis is over and Syria is eager to turn a new leaf

Former PM Omar Karami said that Syrian President Bashar Assad draw him a completely different picture than the one being spread in Lebanon and the world, in reference to the developments in the Syrian situation.

According to An-Nahar daily, Karami quoted Assad as saying: “The crisis is over and we are not worried anymore. We are eager to turn a new leaf and control the situation.”
