March14 youth, families of Lebanese abductees held in Aazaz stage gathering in Beirut

March 14 youth and student organizations and the relatives of  the Lebanese abductees in Syria gathered on Tuesday evening at the tomb of late PM Rafic Hariri and Brig. Gen. Wissam al-Hassan.

The gathering aims at showing a unified stance in regards to the issue of the abductees who remain in the custody of rebels in Aleppo's Aazaz region.

They will  be joining the families of the Lebanese kidnapped in Syria during the Civil War to take part in a symbolic seminar.

In this context, Adham, son of kidnapped pilgrim Abbas Zgheib said: "We will protest in front of the Syrian Embassy if we believe that there is a need to do so. Ours is a humanitarian cause," he added.

The eleven Lebanese Shiite pilgrims were kidnapped on their way back from Iran by Syrian insurgents hoping to use them for a prisoner swap on the 20th of May. Only two were released so far.
