President Aoun says will not resign, expresses hopes of government formation in next few days

President Michel Aoun expressed on Monday his hopes that "an end to the current crisis would be reached through the formation of a new government in the next few days."

Aoun also said that the president of the republic, “despite the powers that he had lost, is a partner in the formation process with the prime minister-designate.”

“Our fight will continue in order to rebuild this country despite all difficulties, confrontations, the disinformation campaigns and rumors that we face,” he added.

President Aoun also said that he will not resign and will carry out his duties until the end.
