Bahaa Hariri: It is high time to disarm the militias

Businessman Bahaa Hariri tweeted about the Tayouneh clash saying: "We are witnessing yet another assault on the concept of the state. The militias are baring their fangs and deliberately using their weapons against security forces and civilians. Today, the law of the jungle overshadows the state’s authority, as a result of the agreements of the political class, and the disregard of the statelet, which has grown to overpower the state. It is high time to disarm the militias."
