Rafic Hariri International Airport witnesses significant passengers’ traffic

Rafic Hariri International Airport in Beirut has been witnessing a remarkable movement of passengers, as the number of daily arrivals is currently recorded at seven thousand and sometimes exceeds eight thousand, although most of them are Lebanese, shortly before the holidays and the end of 2021.

The numbers for the month of last November recorded an increase of about 56 percent in the number of passengers to and from Lebanon, and the total number of passengers reached 343 thousand and 4 passengers, bringing the total number of passengers from the beginning of 2021 until the end of the eleventh month of which three million and 865 thousand and 178 passengers compared to 2,209,526 passengers in the same period of the previous year 2020, an increase of 75 percent.
