Interior Minister al-Mawlawi says situation of Zouk thermal power plant is dangerous

Minister of Interior Bassam al-Mawlawi submitted on Wednesday to the Cabinet a summary of a security report on the current dangerous situation of the Zouk thermal power plant, which requires rapid preventive measures to be taken.

In details, the thermal power plant is unsafe due to gaps in the technical fence caused by a lack of guards, where there are hydrogen tanks, fuel oil, and expired hazardous materials.
