Merehbi accuses Kahwaji of leading presidential campaign from Tripoli

MP Mouin Merhebi accused Army Commander General Jean Kahwaji of leading the Presidential battle from Tripoli and added that "they" [Future Bloc] will no longer accept consensual security.

Merhebi said that events in Tripoli represent a real war scene whereby shelling and sniping operations are taking place.

"If the LAF is not capable of bearing its responsibility, let's ask for help from international forces," he added.

Deputy Merhebi said that both the Lebanese President and Premiere are not concerned about the situation in the North.

"They are having touristic tours at a time citizens are dying in Tripoli," Merhebi concluded.
