Agriculture Minister: There is no sugar, wheat or vegetable oil crisis

Agriculture Minister Abbas Hajj Hassan affirmed on Tuesday that "there is no wheat crisis in Lebanon, but rather high prices as a result of the Ukrainian-Russian crisis."

"All cultivated lands will be carefully surveyed so that we have real and accurate information for each farmer in order to reach the stage of support that will be secured for us by donor countries and bodies,” he added.

He also reassured the Lebanese citizens that there is no sugar, wheat or vegetable oil crisis.
