US Embassy urges Americans to leave Iraq after rocket attack

The United States Embassy in Baghdad said in an updated security alert on Saturday that U.S. citizens should leave Iraq immediately following an overnight rocket attack targeting the embassy compound.

The embassy added that U.S. citizens who choose to remain in Iraq are strongly advised to reconsider their decision in light of the significant threat posed by terrorist armed groups aligned with Iran.
