The Lebanese army received on Wednesday at Rafic Hariri International Airport about 70 tons of food, presented as a gift from the Emir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani to the army.
According to the army command, the aid was received in the presence of the representative of the army commander General Joseph Aoun, and the ambassador of the State of Qatar in Lebanon.
The representative of the Army Commander thanked the Emir of the State of Qatar for his repeated initiatives towards the military institution, wishing the brotherly State of Qatar continued peace and progress.
