Turkish UN Unit takes preventive measure as families of detainees promise to disrupt Turkish interests

Families of Lebanese detainees in Syria’s Aazaz carried their soreness to the UN Human Rights Commission in Ramle Bayde hoping that this step will lead to a solution that puts an end to their suffering.

Considering that the kidnapping group is supported from Turkish authorities and various countries, families of the detainees called on the European Union to raise a claim against the Turkish country.

In this context, after threating of disrupting Turkish interests in Lebanon, the Turkish unit at the UN in South Lebanon took preventive measures and precautions for fear of these threats.

These units set surveillance cameras, additional lighting, iron barriers, and barbed wires on the entrances and in the vicinity of the headquarters of the unit.
