Caretaker Minister of Defense meets LAF chief

Caretaker Minister of Defense Maurice Slim discussed on Thursday with Lebanese Armed Forces Commander Major General Joseph Aoun matters related to the military institution, mainly the procedures undertaken by the army’s command to provide the needs of military men and their families.

Talks also covered the army’s situation and the country’s security during these crucial times.

The numerous security achievements that the army units achieve on a daily basis at the security level were also discussed, mainly combating crime, protecting stability and social security in all Lebanese regions, and exposing, arresting and bringing criminals to justice.
