Lebanon moves forward on cannabis, aviation regulation, pushes back telecom, energy appointments

Lebanon’s Cabinet on Thursday approved the formation of regulatory bodies for the cannabis sector and civil aviation, marking a key step toward organizing and legalizing operations in both sectors.

However, the government postponed appointments to the regulatory authorities for telecommunications and energy, extending the nomination deadlines for both by an additional two weeks.
