Explosion in Beit Misk shakes Matn region; Red Cross transports five injuries

According to preliminary information, an explosion occurred in Beit Misk town in Matn region on Friday morning; a gas leak has most likely caused the blast.

In this context, Aatchane's head of municipality told LBCI that the explosion occurred in a residential apartment in Beit Misk, and the cause is yet to be determined.

Secretary-General of the Red Cross, George Kettaneh, said in a phone call with LBCI that five injuries were transported and ambulances are present at the accident scene. In principle, the injuries are not severe.
