Berri calls for the completion of an electoral law prior to vote

Speaker Nabih Berri informed a delegation of visitors on Friday that he cannot go to the general authority with an incomplete electoral law requesting a vote of approval.

Berri called for a full draft of the electoral law and added that the parliamentary sub-committee is proceeding its discussions related to the articles of the electoral law.

“When the sub-committee agrees on a draft law, we will refer it to the general authority,” he concluded.
