Majdalani urges Health Minister to take action on counterfeit medicines

Future bloc MP Atef Majdalani urged Health Minister Ali Hassan Khalil to freeze the licenses of the companies involved in the file of counterfeit medicines and to close their storehouses until the court ruling is issued.

Majdalani also asked the minister to issue a list of the medications that entered Lebanon since 2009, calling on him to conduct a campaign to reveal which counterfeit medicines are still circulated in the Lebanese market.
