Franjieh following his meeting with Arslan: We will vote for the Orthodox Gathering

Marada Party Leader MP Sleiman Farnjieh received on Saturday Head of Lebanese Democratic Party MP Talal Arslan at his residence in Bnachii.

In this context, Franjieh confirmed that he and Arslan will be voting in favor of  the draft law proposed by the Orthodox Gathering once proposed in the parliament.

Franjieh added that the two parties support the appliance of proportionality during the elections since it ensures an adequate representation.

On the Syrian crisis, Franjieh said that fundamentalism and militant groups exit in Syria due to international funds, stressing that Lebanon is subject to a major campaign and therefore a new electoral law must be ratified to limit the "financial attack" targeting the Lebanese people.

For his part, Arsaln praised Frangieh and stated that Lebanon and its people will have a bright promising future.
