Sayegh to LBCI: FM Adnan Mansour’s stance is against the Lebanese unity

Former PM Saad Hariri's advisor Daoud Sayegh said on Sunday that a part of the parliamentary elections is related to the results of the Syrian crisis adding that March14 forces reached a new electoral formula and its being discussed with the Progressive Socialist Party.

Sayegh told LBCI during Nharkom Said that the Orthodox Gathering’s electoral law increases the gap among Lebanese factions and added that March14’s proposition of a hybrid law based on the proportional law and the majoritarian system ensures consensus.

Sayegh considered that the stance of Foreign Minister Adnan Mansour during the meeting of the Arab League in Cairo was against the Lebanese unity and the cabinet’s position.
