Shiite Council urges state to move quickly on al-Sadr case
The High Islamic Shiite Council appealed to the Lebanese state on Saturday to take immediate actions to determine the whereabouts of Imam Musa al-Sadr and his companions.

During a meeting with the national committee tasked with following up on al-Sadr’s case, the council said that “happiness over Gaddafi’s death is incomplete for the Imam is still held captive in their prisons.”

The participants highlighted the Libyan NTC‘s responsibility to exert assiduous efforts in order to determine the whereabouts of al-Sadr, confirming that “it is a national case par excellence.”
