Israel claims it is currently striking Hezbollah targets in Beirut

The Israeli military said early Wednesday that it was carrying out air strikes in Beirut against Hezbollah targets.

"The Israeli military is currently striking Hezbollah targets in Beirut," the military said, as a Lebanese security source said Israel had struck the capital's southern suburbs.
