UAE launches ‘UAE Stands with Lebanon’ campaign under directives of its President

The Emirates News Agency reported that, under the directives of UAE President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and with the follow-up of Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister, and Head of the Presidential Court Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Deputy Head of the Presidential Court for Development Affairs and Martyrs' Families, and Chairman of the International Humanitarian Affairs Council Sheikh Theyab bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, launched a "relief campaign to support the Lebanese brotherly people at the national level."

The "UAE Stands with Lebanon" campaign will run from today (Tuesday) until Monday, October 21, and will involve participation from the community, government institutions, and private entities.

Sheikh Theyab bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan emphasized "the keen interest that the UAE, under Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, places in supporting its brothers in Lebanon amid the humanitarian challenges and difficult conditions they face."

He expressed his confidence in "the humanitarian and fraternal role traditionally exhibited by the authentic Emirati community, including individuals, institutions, and businesspeople, in standing with brothers and friends during such crises and extending a helping hand to those in need."
