Fire engulfs el-Bireh forests in Chouf, threatens nearby crops

A large fire erupted late Saturday in the forests of el-Bireh in the Chouf region and continues to burn actively. The flames have intensified, spreading over a wider area and threatening nearby crops.

Firefighting teams are working to contain and extinguish the blaze.
