Israel launches intense attacks on Baalbek, Lebanon

Security sources told Reuters that Israel has begun intensive attacks on the historic city of Baalbek and surrounding villages in the Bekaa Valley in eastern Lebanon, following an evacuation order issued by the Israeli army for the city and its outskirts.

There have been no reports of injuries yet. Thousands have fled the city since the evacuation order was announced, about four hours before the strikes began.
