Top security officials agree on series of joint measures to fight increasing crime rate
         
The Lebanese Armed Forces Commander Jean Kahwagi held on Wednesday a meeting in Yarze in the context of a joint coordination between the Lebanese Army and the security apparatuses in a bid to follow up on the current status quo.         

The meeting was held in the presence of the General Prosecutor Judge Hatem Madi, the Lebanese Internal Security Forces (ISF) Major General Ashraf Rifi, Security Brigadier General George Karaa, General Security Chief Abbas Ibrahim, the LAF Director of Intelligence Brigadier General Edmond Fadel and head of the ISF Information Division Imad Othman.          

In the details, the aforementioned officials tackled the security developments, mainly the abductions taking place in the northern area of Bekaa, noting that they have agreed on a series of joint measures in order to fight organized crimes and maintain security across the country.
