Rai hopes political parties agree upon an electoral law, congratulates PM-Designate Salam

Maronite Patriarch Cardinal Bechara Boutros Rai expressed his hope during the Sunday homily that political parties would reach consensus in regards to a new electoral law that represents all components of the society.

On Saturday evening, Cardinal Rai contacted on Saturday evening Prime Minister-Designate Tammam Salam wishing him luck in this task.

In this regard, Cardinal Rai hoped that the formation of the cabinet would be as swift as the nomination of MP Salam and based on national consensus.
