Caretaker Minister of Tourism Abboud: Russian and Ukrainian tourists to flock into Lebanon

Caretaker Minister of Tourism Fadi Abboud met on Friday with Ukrainian and Russian travel agents, in the presence of both countries ambassadors to Lebanon.

Following the meeting, Minister Abboud said that measures will be taken to further develop the tourism relations between Lebanon, Russia and the Ukraine.

For his part, Russian ambassador to Lebanon Alexander Zasypkin praised Lebanon’s self-distancing policy, urging its maintenance for the sake of stability and security which in turn are pivotal in attracting tourists.
